Profit taking. Same reason Ron Pratt put his whole collection up at once. These car prices are speculative and dangerous for buyers (from a dollar point of view). You’ll notice one of these numbers is not like the others.

Wowzers. That’s just stupid. Can we kill speculators? I’m sure they are ruining our economy.

This is not a joke. about 3-4 years ago saw a 1987 911 on craigslist for about $8K. Driver car. Not a queen. Lots of miles, worn interior.
This spring, same car, $25K. Sold.

Confirms my hunch that there was a 250 LM road car.
My Ferrari Halo Car lineage is complete.
250 LM —> 288 GTO —> F40 —> F50 —> Enzo —> LaFerrari.

What a car. I saw one last year at the Lime Rock historics race...this was part of Ralph Lauren’s collection. 250 LM, Jag XKSS, and to the left was a Porsche 718 RSK. I almost fainted.
